According to recent survey, it has been found that the house owners in Houston, the largest city in the state of Texas are mainly choosing to renovate their houses rather than build a new one. The owners are opting for renovation as it is less luxurious than razing the building and reconstructing it. This trend has emerged as a result of the financial improbability and more and more residents are going for home renovations which are particularly high end projects.

The Houston people are attracted towards house remodeling since the new house will have master bedrooms in the main floor and four bedrooms down. This had also given high hopes to builders since the decline in new house building has been largely affecting them.

 Many home owners in Houston also prefer kitchen remodeling as the place is considered as the heart of the house. Some of the people also have plans to remodel the house and wait for the market to rise so that they can dispose then.
